We’re super excited to announce the newest member of the Blue Moon girl band, Cara Millet!
Cara joins us as our new Creative Designer, adding a wealth of industry experience, design insight and an unmatched passion for creativity making her a perfect fit for our ever-expanding family!
In this blog, we get to know Cara a little bit more…
Why did you want to join Blue Moon?
After being made redundant from my previous Graphic Designer role, I had a think about what I wanted to do next with my career. I’ve always worked for companies in-house which has been great, but I decided that I could reach my full potential working for an agency.
That’s when Anne reached out to me about joining Blue Moon. I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and I couldn’t argue with the perfect timing – it just felt meant to be. Anne’s vision and obvious passion for what she does gave me the confidence that Blue Moon is going to achieve big things, and I’m over the moon (pun intended) that I get to be a part of the journey.
What are you most excited about for this year?
I’m excited to grow as a designer and give Blue Moon my all! I thrive off a challenge and love it when everyday is different, which I know it will be. I can already tell that I’m joining a group of incredibly talented, high flying ladies and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time I’m usually trying to tire out my very energetic pup Lando (named after the F1 driver). I’m also an avid gym goer and got into lifting weights at the start of this year. On weekends, you’ll probably find me at a bottomless brunch somewhere, pretending to be 23 but going home early because I’m actually 28 and can’t hack it like I used to!!
What are three random facts about me?
- I love country music, I think it’s so underrated!
I won an ASDA colouring competition when I was 6, but I’ve stayed humble.
I’m addicted to chocolate and need to have it after every meal or I don’t feel finished. I’ve mastered the art of limiting myself to 3 squares though, so it’s okay.
